London, July 4, 2007: Packet Vision, the provider of targeted, addressable advertising services within IPTV, has today announced the appointment of Barry Llewellyn as VP Sales & Marketing.
Barry has 25 years of experience in TV advertising airtime sales on a regional, national and pan-continental basis for various TV channels including ITV (UK) and MTV Europe. A co-founder of Catalyst Media Group plc - one of the first content-rich IPTV networks - Barry has also run international television channels with specific focus on marketing, PR, advertising sales, sponsorship and network development. He has executive board director experience on AIM and NASDAQ listed media companies. Charlie Horrell, Packet Vision's CEO, said: "This is an important stage in the development of Packet Vision. Now that our targeted advertising service is proved, and as our first commercial services begin in the US and the UK, we're also in detailed discussion with potential partners across Europe and Asia. Barry's experience in international television markets will prove invaluable." Barry Lewellyn said: "Packet Vision is well-placed to become the industry standard for addressable advertising. And with the reach of IPTV set to sky rocket, that's really exciting. I'm looking forward to opening up the potential of the Packet Vision service to IPTV markets across the globe."
